The new JG Everest album Parade and Mary Everest's debut album, Little Things are finished. Come celebrate the Dual CD Release Concert at the intimate Bryant Lake Bowl Theater on Friday, June 29. Both records were recorded with Ben Durrant at Crazy Beast Studio here in Minneapolis, and feature a bunch of friends and current and former bandmates (Martin Dosh (Lateduster), James Diers & Dave King (Halloween, Alaska) Channy Moon Casselle (Roma Di Luna) Adrian Suarez (Vicious Vicious), Damon Ewing (Sensational Joint Chiefs), Ryan Lovan & Jess Hayssen (Mandrew), Elizabeth Bonacci, Adam Linz, Randy Kramer, and Bethany Lacktorin. Yay! The CD Release Concert will feature many of the musicians who played on the records, in an all-star backing band, as Mary and James switch back and forth, playing each other's songs.

The gordonovich record is completed and will be released in 2006, details pending.

There's also a good chance that Everest's original score to Catalyst's HEAT & LIFE will also be completed and released to coincide with CATALYST performances at Dance Theatre Workshop in NYC in June, along with the new Catalyst DVD that will feature the live version in entirety.

Lateduster will continue to sporadically work on new music together (when we're all in the same city) and apart, and we're hoping to play some shows, too. (tentatively scheduled for springtime)

FTR will also be involved with several music-related events once again in 2006, including the MAKING MUSIC conversations series at the University of Minnesota's WHOLE Music Club, the iQuit Music Series at The Rogue Buddha Gallery, and the SOUNDUNSEEN Music & Film Festival in October.
